Earthquakes in the Canary Islands Could Cause Catastrophe
The Canary Islands, off the coast of North Africa, is being hit by thousands of earthquakes. One flank
of the Cumbre Vieja volcano on the island of La Palma, in the Canaries, is unstable and could plunge
into the ocean during an earthquake or the volcano's next eruption. If the volcano collapsed in one
block of rock weighing 500 billion tons would fall into water almost four miles deep and create an
undersea wave 2000 feet tall.
Within five minutes of the landslide, a dome of water about a mile high would form and then collapse,
before the Mega Tsunami fanned out in every direction, traveling at speeds of up to 500 mph. A 330
foot wave would strike the Western Sahara in less than an hour and huge waves several hundred feet
high would hit Africa and Europe. A wall of water would race across the entire Atlantic Ocean at 500
MPH to devastate the east coast of the United States, the Caribbean and South America. The tsunami
would cross the Atlantic Ocean in six hours and would have subsided into a succession of smaller
Tsunamis each about 30 meters (98 feet) to 60 meters (197 feet) high sweeping away everything in
its path up to 20 miles inland. The Height of the Statue of Liberty from her heel to the top of her head
is 111 feet, 6 inches. Millions would be killed in Boston, New York, Atlantic City, Norfolk, Charleston
and Miami.

Spewing volcano forces Spain to close island port
AP) MADRID — Spanish authorities say activity by an underwater volcano has led them to close
access to a port on El Hierro island.
Ships have been ordered away from waters around La Restinga and aircraft have been banned from
flying over the island's southern tip.
The port's 600 residents were evacuated Tuesday after volcanic activity began.
The regional government of the Canary Islands says scientists have detected airborne volcanic
fragments called pyroclasts rising from the sea off La Restinga.
The government said it awaited scientific reports on the danger posed by pyroclasts, but a research
vessel that was collecting samples there has been ordered to desist.
TV channel La Sexta reported Saturday that journalists also have been told to clear the area.

Increasing Seismic Activity in Canary Islands. Potential Eruption at El
Hierro ?
On 16 July, seismicity at Hierro started to be high above the background levels. Until 19 September
more than 7,200 events had been located, most of them in the El Golfo area with hypocenters that
were 10 km deep, all magnitudes were below 3. The seismic activity alternated between relatively calm
periods and high-energy periods. GPS local network stations showed deformations of about 2 cm.
During 20-26 September the rates of both GPS deformation and seismic energy release significantly
increased. On 23 September the Autonomous Canarian Government raised the Volcanic Alert Code
to Yellow. On 27 september, the seismic activity drastically increased, with 10 felt events and

We’ve been closely watching the earthquake swarm at the Canary Island’
s El Hierro since the middle of the summer and it looks like there has been a
dramatic increase in the number and intensity of the seismicity at the volcano. Since mid-July, the
small island, which is the top of a shield volcano built by the Canary Hotspot, has registered over
8,000 earthquakes – check out the excellent video of the changing depth and location of seismicity
put together by Eruptions reader Lurking (or is it GeoLurking now?) Until recently, the earthquakes
have not been noticeable to the people living on El Hierro, but since Monday, multiple ~M3-4
earthquakes have occurred, with 30 earthquakes alone on Monday*. Interestingly, if you look at the
distribution of the earthquakes (see below), the earthquakes over the last few days are deeper than
those 4 days ago or older. Many are centered 14-16 km below the surface of the volcano, putting
them into the upper mantle, the likely source of the magma in the Canary Hotspot plume. FullReport

On October 8, 2011, I checked the latest earthquake activity around the shores of the Canary Islands following
reports of growing concerns a major Volcano eruption might be imminent. What I witnessed (above) on the
official European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre website was astounding. A pattern of epicenters which
was totally bizarre, the like of which I have never seen before. A concise grid pattern of earthquake centers
which surely can not be natural. I said I had have never seen them before, until that is just a few weeks later
when my friend Dr. Mel Arici asked if I had I seen a you tube video showing an identical grid system of
epicenters surrounding the latest major earthquake in Turkey (his homeland). That video is below.

It was of interest to me to see that one of the huge mysterious designs that have recently
shown up in China on new Google Satellite images from space, was one looking remarkably
like these grid patterns. Speculation is wild from theorists that some of the dramatic weather
changes taking place and indeed the increase in earth changes could be created by countries
involved in new super powerful weapons like HAARP or land based high powered microwave
transmitters etc... Could it be that Chinese scientists have wired into the landscape huge
powerful weapons and that what we are seeing is the new generation of aerial arrays which is
using the Earth herself as part of the system?. Are we looking at the new generation of

| It has been said by Seismologists that one of the biggest and most dangerous natural disasters waiting to happen is the collapse of the standing wall on the Cumbre Vieja Volcano on the Canary Islands. If it should erupt and cause the collapse of one entire side of the volcano into the Atlantic ocean, a huge Tsunami would be created, larger than anything we have ever seen as it races towards the entire US east coast and south west coast of The UK with devastating consequences - millions would almost certainly perish and cities would vanish, including New York and Washington D.C. | Note I have made inquiries with the Chinese Embassy in Washington D.C. asking for comment about the strange designs in the Kumtag Desert. I have also written to the Euopean-Mediterranian Seismological Centre asking for an explanation for the earthquake epicenter grid patterns in Turkey and the Canary Islands. No replies as yet.
