The farm consists of three and half acres of land in rural Connecticut. It provides
a wonderful opportunity to monitor the wild life, which might serve as a useful
indicator of changing habitat and environment.
The farm is nestled in with others in a picturesque region, north east of New
Haven in Connecticut. Our neighbors are also very conscious and connected with
the wildlife and the land, which adds to the potential to monitor free movement of
the wild life in the area and to assess trends more accurately than where man is
forcing destructive short term changes upon the Earth's carefully nurtured
environment. Community and responsibility exists here, like we wish it did
everywhere.
Swallowtail Farm will post only what we consider significant and will share that
data with any agency actively engaged in changing the way we do business with
the The Earth, and those who are willing also to change. The rewards for the
future can be huge.
Synthia and Colin Andrews.
