Lloyd Pye is perhaps best known as the caretaker of the Starchild skull. Since 1999 he has
been shepherding this mysterious skull through a battery of scientific testing in an attempt to
prove whether the skull is entirely human...or something else.

The "Starchild" is a real, true bone skull independently dated by Carbon-14 to be 900 years old
(+/- 40 years). It is unlike any human skull ever seen before. The name "Starchild" is the result
of early X-rays taken of the skull and maxilla fragment found with it, which showed unerupted
teeth that, combined with the smaller-than-normal-adult size of the skull, indicated a child of 5 or
6. However, subsequent examination by experts have led to the suggestion that this age is not
necessarily accurate.

Lloyd Pye is an author, researcher, and lecturer in the field of alternative knowledge. He calls on
over 30 years of experience to write and speak about the origins of life, human origins,
Hominoids (bigfoot, sasquatch, yeti, and others), and the work of Zecharia Sitchin. This broad
base of knowledge makes him one of the world's leading proponents of the Intervention Theory
of origins, which stands in sharp contrast to Darwinism, Creationism, and Intelligent Design.

Lloyd is also the caretaker of the famous Starchild skull, and has written a new book about his
eight years of struggle to get it scientifically tested to establish beyond dispute the precise
genetic heritage of both of its parents. So far, extensive testing indicates that its mother was a
normal human but its father was, in all probability, something other than entirely human. More
information is available at www.StarchildProject.com. Lloyd Pye's new book titled The Starchild
Skull -- Genetic Enigma or Human-Alien Hybrid? will be available in July, 2007, in bookstores or
directly from

I received the following from Lloyd this week:

People often ask me how the Starchild can be a human alien hybrid if we accept the idea that
"alien" DNA is as bizarrely unusual as our geneticist is finding it to be (more about his progress
later). How can an alien father with radically different DNA have sex with a human mother and
produce a viable offspring? Would he have the means to inseminate her in a "natural" way?

I have often stated that I don't think the Starchild resulted from sexual reproduction. I believe it
was created by genetic engineering. I base this on how hybridization normally works. Let's use
the world's most typical hybrid animal, the mule. Mules are sterile hybrids produced when
donkey males mate with female horses (a donkey female is too small to birth the larger-bodied
offspring). In every mule you can easily see traits of both parent species. Their close biological
relationship is obvious.

With the Starchild that is not true. You can't find ANY aspect--not one!--of a human skull with an
exact corollary in the Starchild skull. Most of the same parts are there, but all have been
significantly altered from how they are in humans. So if we consider only its basic physiology, to
call it a "hybrid" is a stretch. It's something considerably more than that . . . but what?

If we consider it the product of genetic engineering, then virtually anything is possible, including
the procedure that is now available to humans to prevent a devastating genetic disorder. Below
is an article that outlines the concept of preventing a woman from passing on faulty
mitochondrial DNA. I won't detail that because the article does a good job of it with words and a
brief video.

What it means is that the Starchild could have human mitochondrial DNA, which it does have,
while being very unlike a human at its genetic core. As the article describes, the united sperm
and ovum of an alien species could create a zygote that is then inserted into the egg of a human
female with its gamete removed. If done correctly, the alien zygote could be wildly (but probably
not entirely) different from the human's genetic code, yet she could gestate it to term and give
birth to it.

We are still not at the point of being able to say this is what happened, but it will remain at the
top of my personal list of options until proven otherwise.

Speaking of proof, our geneticist is still working hard to secure the proof we need to go on the
world stage and make our historic claim about the Starchild's nuclear DNA. As might be
expected when exploring cutting-edge territory, at times he's not sure of what he has, and at
other times he knows full well. At all times, though, it's terribly slow and grossly inefficient
compared to what he could do if he could focus on it full time while having access to a 454

We all have to keep in mind that he has a normal full-time job that he has to pursue, and he
does his Starchild work in spare time and on weekends. That won't change until we can afford to
contract with his lab to hire him. Then he will be able to concentrate on the Starchild and run it
through a 454 machine, after which its entire genome can be sequenced in about two months.

The funding ball is now in my court and I have to secure it ASAP. We can't move ahead on
either front, genetic testing or documentary film making, until I secure the funding. No pressure,
eh?   ;-)

But it's okay. Now we actually have something of tremendous value to offer to investors, and I
don't expect it to be too difficult to convince someone to get involved in that way. The key, as
always, is getting them past their almost inevitable first reaction of, "Are you serious??? You
think you've proven alien life existed on Earth 900 years ago??? You can't be serious, can

I can and I am, and I'll soon be taking my show on the road to secure the few million dollars we
need to test and film. It's out there, somewhere, I know it is. If you hear from me only
intermittently for a while, that will be the reason. I'll be on the road trying to find people with the
means and the willingness to invest in this history-making project.

Here are a couple of links I found interesting and amusing:

This is the last time I'll mention the "arm through a glass table" magic trick, but a friend sent me
this link where the trick can be purchased on a smaller scale that what we all saw on the video:

Also, relative to the question of hybridization discussed above, I receive many questions about
my work with human origins, especially my book "Everything You Know Is Wrong." In its
"Hominoid" section (Part III), I discuss the Zana story in considerable detail. Much of that
information is taken from what is found at the link below, with a few good photos my book doesn't
