| Our atmosphere is all that protects us from our sun's harmful radiation! The atmosphere bears its load and global warming escalates to catastrophic proportions due to current energy production methods and consumption. Due to the decrease in ozone and the increase in greenhouse gas emissions (mostly CO2, Methane, and Carbon Monoxides), our planet is in danger. Our Earth is becoming enveloped in a blanket of these gases that trap in heat. This can cause severe draught in some areas, and in some climate models may ultimately lead to an "Ice Age" resulting in a level of destruction that can potentially annihilate the greater portion of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
