This article features a response by British researcher Colin Andrews, now
living in the USA, to the questions posed to Professor Frank Drake who
was instrumental in creating S.E.T.I. This focuses on his reaction to the
infamous Chilbolton crop formation which was linked to the Arecibo radio
array in Central America.

In addition a second video courtesy of the 2009 X-Conference and
produced by Exopolitics Germany and Denmark can be seen here
covering Colin's recent lecture which is based on his recent book
'Government Circles'. Colin's revelations - based on testimony and
documents from the last couple of decades - shines an interesting light on
the extent of UK state inolvement in both crop circles and the wider UFO
arena. Read on for more...

Of particular interest is the apparent clash of views between Andrews and
ex-MoD employee Nick Pope. Evidence appears to point towards Pope
having consistently promoted [whether in a formal post or otherwise] the
idea that the state and military in Britain have no real interest in these
issues -  a view that is countered by Andrews' first hand involvement in
situations like Operation Blackbird and several documentary sources
showing more than a passing interest by British Royals and others.

Interestingly in an audio interview from some time ago with Exopolitics UK -
we asked Nick what he thought of the general disclosure theme we regards
the UK as the interview came in the wake of the bizarre Eastfield Circle
episode where at several points some evidence arose of official interest. At
that time Nick declared that the UK "had little to disclose" beyond the FOIA
type file release we're now aware of. Both Andrews presentation and his
book are crucial to grasping some sort of perspective on the British
exopolitical stance.
